So, I am back after a pretty long time! And it feels so good.

I am starting a new feature named Quickie to save your time and mine too. In Quickies I will be answering the most common questions asked by aspirants who are aiming for GATE and ESE.

So, My fellow Spartans, let’s kill!

Q- How to prepare Current Affairs for GATE and IES?

Ans- We all know that CA is not really important for GATE so, you don’t need to worry about that. But if you are aiming for IES too, then you just can’t skip it.

Go through http://www.gktoday.in and try to attempt the Current affairs quizzes regularly and you are good to go. And yes, its absolutely FREE! As simple as that. 🙂

WARNING: Don’t run for too much material for this section. Don’t buy trillions of books and coaching notes for this section. It will hurt you only. Just have faith in you and do what i have said. You will not regret your decision.

    1. Hi Mahesh,

I can’t say anything about cutoff of ESE 2014 since, i haven’t seen the paper.
As far as copy checking is concerned, i don’t think anything like max 70% marks is followed by UPSC. It all depends on the whims of the examiner.
