The Proposal (Short Story)

“I want to marry you..” She said.

“Sorry dear, but I am already married. I can’t go for another marriage. You can talk to my younger brother though.” He replied smiling.

“No No! I am also not interested. Please spare us.” Shouted the younger brother, while tying up the logs of wood.

“Am I not beautiful enough?” She started screaming.

“No. You are very beautiful. Its just..”

She realized that she could no longer hide the truth, as her anger was overcoming her beauty magic.

She turned into her real form.. The monster.

Lakshman pulled out his sword and attacked, cutting down the nose of Surpanakha.
